Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1),
followed by the model withdrawal form.

Part 1. Information on the right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third
party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
Where you ordered several goods in one order and they are delivered separately, the period
expires 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier
and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last item.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a
letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form set out below, but it
is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication
concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from
you, including the costs of delivery, with the exception of the supplementary costs
resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of
standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days
from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the
initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not
incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied
evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, at the address above, without undue
delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your
withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before
the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other
than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Notes specific to the Leis Magnetic Trivet
The withdrawal right applies in full. The Leis Magnetic Trivet is made to order in our
own workshop, but it is produced in one standard size with no options, no variants and no
customisation. It is therefore not a good “made to the consumer’s specifications” or
“clearly personalised”, and the statutory exception in Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU
does not apply to it. You have the full 14 day right of withdrawal.
What “testing” means in practice. You may unpack the trivet, look at it and place a pot
on it to check the magnetic hold, in the same way you could examine it in a shop. That is
what “establishing the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods” means, and it
does not reduce your refund.
Handling that goes beyond that may reduce your refund, for example:
- using the trivet for cooking or serving over an extended period
- oiling, sanding, staining or otherwise treating the wood
- exposing it to heat above the stated limit, causing scorching or discolouration
- soaking it or putting it in a dishwasher, causing swelling or splitting
- scratches, dents or chips from use
If we reduce a refund for diminished value, we tell you the amount and the reason in writing
before we issue the refund.
Packaging. Please return the trivet in its original packaging where you still have it,
or in packaging that protects it just as well. You do not lose the right of withdrawal if
the original packaging is gone or was opened. Damage in transit caused by inadequate
packaging can reduce the refund, so it is in your interest to pack it properly.

Please include the completed withdrawal form or at least your order number in the parcel, so
we can match the return to your order.
We recommend using a trackable service. Without proof of dispatch we may lawfully withhold
the refund until the parcel actually arrives.
Do not send the parcel cash on delivery. Parcels sent to us cash on delivery or with
charges payable on arrival will be refused. Refusing such a parcel does not affect your
withdrawal, we will simply ask you to send it again by a normal service.

This is separate from a defect claim
The right of withdrawal is a no reason return right for the first 14 days. It is not the
same as a complaint about a faulty product.
If the trivet is faulty or does not match its description, you have separate statutory
rights for two years from delivery, and in that case we pay the return cost. See
section 12 of the Terms and Conditions.
If you bought as a business
The right of withdrawal is a consumer right. If you ordered with a company name and VAT
number, it does not apply to you.

What happens after you send the form
- We confirm receipt of your withdrawal by email, normally within 1 working day and in any
event within 5 working days. - You send the trivet back to the address above within 14 days of sending the form.
- We refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment
method you paid with. We may wait until the goods arrive back or until you show proof of
dispatch. - If we reduce the refund for diminished value, we tell you why before we issue it.
